The Process
After contacting About Kitchens we will arrange a time that suits you for a free (for the Kapiti Coast & the Greater Wellington area) consultation. Within 5 working days you will receive your plan, quote and specification sheet. This may be a starting point and the plans and specs may be changed still at no cost to you.
When you do decide to give About Kitchens the go ahead you will get another visit were either myself or one of my trained team members will do our final check measure and go over with you exactly what you will be getting including your choice of colours and an installation date is usually set. At this point a 40% deposit is required.
Our quotes are usually priced to install your kitchen into a cleared and prepared area. This means that the old kitchen has been removed and the plumber and electrician have been in to move water fittings/waste and power points to the new required positions (this is sometime unnecessary). This can also be a good time to get your plastering and painting done and /or timber sanded.
All this can be arranges by us for just a small management fee.
After your new kitchen has been installed your plumber and electrician will then need to come back to reconnect the water/waste/power and commission your appliances.
